At X1Mats, every product is custom-made to order, crafted specifically for your vehicle and design preferences. Because of this bespoke process, we kindly ask customers to review all order details carefully before completing a purchase.
That said, we believe in fairness, transparency, and clear resolution paths. Please review the policy below to understand how returns, refunds, replacements, and order resolutions are handled.
Eligibility for Returns & Refund Requests
- Return or refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of confirmed delivery.
- Requests received after this period will not be eligible for return, refund, or replacement.
All requests must include:
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
- Clear photos or videos, where applicable
Custom-Made Products & Exchanges
- All X1Mats products are custom-made to order based on customer-provided vehicle details and customization selections.
- For this reason, exchanges are not offered, as each order is uniquely produced and cannot be resold.
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for consideration, returned items must:
- Be unused.
- Be in original condition.
- Include original tags and packaging.
- Be returned in the original branded box.
Items showing signs of use, installation, damage, or wear will not be eligible for return or refund.
Defective, Damaged, or Fitment Issues
If you experience:
- Manufacturing defects.
- Shipping damage.
- Significant fitment issues.
You must notify X1Mats within 7 days of delivery.
Required:
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue
Once reviewed and approved:
- A free replacement will be issued.
- Refunds are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Return Shipping Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Returns must be sent to the sender address listed on the original shipping label.
- X1Mats is not responsible for returns sent to an incorrect address.
All shipping fees, including expedited shipping, are non-refundable.
Refund Processing
If a return is approved and received in acceptable condition:
- A partial refund will be issued.
- 25% of the item value will be deducted to cover material, production, and labor costs.
- Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval.
If an alteration or adjustment is advised by our team, a maximum refund of up to $50 USD may be applied at X1Mats’ discretion.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Cases
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
- Dislike of color, design, or customization selections.
- Incorrect vehicle or customization details provided by the customer.
- Failed or missed delivery attempts due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Recipient unavailability
- Orders for classic, rare, or specialty vehicles, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Orders affected by vehicle modifications made before or after purchase.
Vehicle Modifications Disclaimer
X1Mats are designed based on original manufacturer specifications.
If a vehicle has been modified (including flooring changes, aftermarket parts, structural alterations, or interior modifications), fitment may be affected.
In such cases:
- Fitment cannot be guaranteed.
- Returns, refunds, or replacements will not be issued.
This applies to cars, slingshots, and specialty vehicles.
Resolution Process & Payment Reviews
At X1Mats, we are committed to resolving concerns directly and efficiently through our customer support team.
Contact Us First
We strongly encourage customers to contact X1Mats support before initiating a payment dispute. Most concerns can be resolved faster and more effectively when handled directly.
Disputes & Chargebacks
Once a dispute or chargeback is initiated with a bank or payment provider:
- The order is considered under formal financial review.
- The case will be handled exclusively through the payment provider’s dispute process.
- Customer support resolutions, refunds, replacements, or remakes are paused and no longer applicable.
Dispute Outcome & Order Closure
- If a dispute is resolved in favor of X1Mats, the order is considered finalized and closed.
- Products associated with disputed transactions are not eligible for replacement, refund, or additional compensation.
- This includes disputes related to:
- Fitment concerns
- Shipping delays
- Customization preferences
No Dual Resolution Policy
Customers may pursue one resolution path only:
- Work directly with X1Mats customer support OR.
- File a dispute through their payment provider.
Both resolution paths cannot be pursued simultaneously.
Customer Responsibility & Final Sale Nature
By placing an order, customers acknowledge that:
- Purchases must be made carefully
- Custom-made items are produced specifically for the customer
- A change of mind does not constitute a valid reason for return or refund
All refunds, if any, are issued at the sole discretion of X1Mats, in accordance with this policy.
